Do I need a doctors referral?
While ACC suggests that every patient has a referral we realize this is not always possible. If you don’t have a referral, speak to one of our educators and we will do our best to help.
What does it cost to become an All Access Medical Clinic patient?
A 1 year membership costs $49.95 and includes consultations with our educators and physicians, product discounts, documentation verification and submission to Licensed Producers and 1 year on going support and education.
What steps do I need to go through to receive Medicinal Cannabis through the All Access Medical Clinic?
- A) Discuss treatment options with your doctor and decide if Medical Marijuana is an appropriate course of treatment for you.
- B) Speak to one of our educators and book an appointment with All Access Medical Clnic
- C) One of our qualified physicians will complete a “Medical Document” (prescription). The Medical Document specifies the number of grams per day as well as the authorized period of use. This is the only documentation that legally permits an individual to use or transport medicinal cannabis.

How do I choose a Licensed Producer?
One of our Cannabis educators will provide you with information regarding which Licensed Producer may be right for you.
Can I register with more than 1 Licensed Producer?
Yes, your (medical document) prescription can be split between 2 Licensed Producers.
What happens if I want to change Licensed Producers?
ACMPR guidelines state that once you have submitted (registered) your Medical Document with a Licensed Producer, you cannot transfer to another Licensed Producer. You must cancel your registration with that existing Licensed Producer, obtain a new Medical Document from your healthcare provider and register with the new Licensed Producer (ACC will help with this task at no charge).
Can I grow for myself or do I have to purchase from a Licensed Producer?

Can I legally purchase medical cannabis from a dispensary?
No. All dispensaries are illegal. You can grow for yourself, have a designated grower grow for you or purchase from a Health Canada certified Licensed Producer.
What are the active ingredients in Medicinal Cannabis?
THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and Cannabidiol (CBD).
THC – Has psychoactive effects, as well as analgesic, anti-nausea, is a stimulant and anti-spastic
CBD – Has no psychoactive effects. It does have neuro-protective, anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-epileptic and anti-psychotic properties.
How does Medicinal Cannabis work?
The active ingredients in cannabis act on specific targets in the body known as cannabinoid receptors. These receptors are located throughout the body and are involved in the regulation of many functions including: brain and nervous system activity, heart rate and blood pressure, digestion, immune system activity, inflammation, chronic pain, wake/sleep cycle, regulation of stress and emotional state as well as many other functions.
How should I ingest Medicinal Cannabis?
There are various methods that can be used, including Vaporizing, oils, creams, pills and smoking. All sources agree that while smoking is best known, it is the least healthy. Vaporization is a much better way to ingest Medical Cannabis while avoiding the byproducts of burning plant matter. Oils and pills are also much less harmful methods to use cannabis and are becoming increasingly popular. Please speak to an educator to better understand your ingestion options.
What is the price of Medicinal Cannabis from a Licensed Producer?
Prices vary from $5.00-$12.00/gram for dried bud. Oils vary in price from $90-$120/50 ml bottle. Speak to your ACC educator about Licensed Producer product availability, discounts and financial assistance/disability programs.
Is Medicinal Cannabis covered by provincial or 3rd party insurance plans
Speak to your ACC educator for clarification. Recently some third-party insurers have begun to cover cannabis therapies. Veterans Affairs does cover cannabis and cannabis-related costs for all veterans and RCMP personnel. The cost of all cannabis purchased from Licensed Producers and private health care costs can be claimed as a health deduction for personal income tax filing purposes. Also, all Licensed Producers (LP’s) offer financial assistance/disability programs and incentives
What are the recommended dosage guidelines?
Speak to an ACC physician and educator concerning dosage, strain type and THC/CBD ratios. Most people use 1-3 grams of marijuana daily. While there are no restrictions on the daily dosage, there is a possession limit of the lesser of 150 grams or 30 times the daily prescribed amount.
If I am not near one of your clinics - can I still arrange to see a physician?
For all our clients that cannot come into one of our clinics – The Clinic Network will arrange an appointment with one of our physicians via our telemedicine platform
Does provincial Health care cover the costs of my appointment?
The clinic Network charges an annual fee of $49.95 for patient assessment & education and 1 year of unlimited patient support.
Medical plans do not cover the costs of medication, however cost of the appointment and all product purchases are tax deductible (keep your receipts).
How do I obtain and receive my medication?
The Clinic Network Educators will help you register with a Licensed Producer and guide you through the ordering process and product receipt.
